Terms and Conditions

When you engage Hammer & Key Pianos for tuning or restoration services, our initial assessment provides an estimate based on the visible condition of the instrument. Pianos are complex, sensitive instruments; occasionally, internal wear or structural issues are only discovered once restoration begins.

If additional work is required beyond the initial assessment, we will pause the service and consult with you. No further work will be undertaken, and no extra charges applied, without your explicit prior approval.

To reserve a visit for tuning or evaluation, we require confirmation via email or phone. We understand that schedules change, but we kindly request at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a standard call-out fee to compensate for the reserved time and travel logistics.

All pianos sold by Hammer & Key Pianos have been meticulously inspected and prepared. Our instruments are sold with a clear description of their condition and origin. Title to the instrument passes to the buyer only once full payment has been received.

Delivery logistics are arranged independently for each sale. We work with specialized piano moving partners to ensure the safe arrival of your instrument. Delivery fees are calculated separately based on accessibility, stairs, and distance from our workshop.

While we treat every instrument with the utmost care and professional expertise, Hammer & Key Pianos cannot be held responsible for pre-existing structural flaws, string breakages during pitch raises on older instruments, or damages resulting from inappropriate climate control (humidity/temperature fluctuations) in your home or venue after tuning or delivery.
